Description	:	To all the kind-hearted people... I am a kidney patient residing at Balussery in Kozhikode District, Kerala, seeking financial or any other type of help from all of you. Both my kidneys have been damaged due to renal failure and I am on dialysis for the last three years. Our family's monetary resources have been completely drained out and now we have no other way to meet the huge expenses except to seek your kind assistance. The doctors at the Calicut Medical College, where I have consulted, says both my kidneys have failed and there is no other alternative except to go in for a kidney transplant. As you know, a kidney transplant is highly expensive in India and being a poor family, we cannot afford it. I am a mother of two children, one studying in Plus-1 class and the other in 6th standard. My husband is also having a serious health problem and hence he is not in a position to support our family. To add fuel to the fire, our house got collapsed with a falling coconut tree during the torrential rain and wind storm last year. Dialysis is still continuing twice in a week and the cost of treatment is around Rs.25,000 per month. Expenses for my treatment as on date was approximately Rs.400,000. The charitable trust specially formed for my treatment by a local committee chaired by the Unnikulam Grama Panchayat President have managed to collect a sum of Rs.100,000. Now we do not have sufficient resources to meet the huge medical expenses, children's educational expenses and other day-to-day expenses. Since I belong to a poor family and have already spent a sizable amount for treatment, I request philanthropists, social organisations, individuals and others to help me.
